The 50th anniversary edition of the International Mountain Guide Championships will take place in the Kaunertal in Tyrol from April 25 to 27, 2025.

The Kaunertal offers an impressive backdrop in the western Ötztal Alps, surrounded by the Kaunergrat in the east and the Glockturmkamm in the west. At the end of the valley is the Gepatschferner, embedded in a diverse alpine adventure area. In addition to sporting challenges such as the ski race and the ascent race, participants can expect an extensive program that also includes cultural and recreational aspects.
